Hello! My name is Trinetta Bryan. I am the Creator and Founder of The Wrap Sheet by Marsu Baby. My daughter, Jenesis, was the inspiration behind the Wrap Sheet. The early challenges I faced with adhering to safe sleep protocols motivated me to create this solution-based sleep product for newborns.
The Problem
The concept for this product emerged during the challenging first month of my daughter’s life. Despite closely adhering to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines, which advise against using loose blankets in a baby’s sleep space, I noticed my daughter was frequently restless. I began swaddling her, but I was concerned to find that she often rolled onto her side.
Worried that the lack of warmth might be contributing to her disrupted sleep, I devised a solution: I tucked a blanket over her and secured it under the bassinet mattress pad, ensuring both the blanket and my daughter remained safely in place. This simple adjustment led to a peaceful night’s sleep for both of us, and the idea for the Wrap Sheet was born.
The Solution: The Wrap Sheet
The Wrap Sheet is a patent-pending fitted bed sheet with an attached blanket wrap. It fits over most bassinet and mini crib mattress pads like a traditional bedsheet but features a unique attached blanket wrap that securely holds your infant in place, preventing rolling over. Tested by parents, it has been proven to be a safer sleep alternative to traditional swaddling methods. Additionally, The Wrap Sheet has been product and safety tested by a CPSC-accepted (Consumer Product Safety Commission) laboratory and approved.
